Ting-yu graduated from the department of pharmacy at KMU, and then acquired her master degree in pharmacology in the FCT lab at NTU. During her master degree, she aimed to figure out the interactions between microtubule-actin crosslinking factor 1 (MACF1) and Ca2+ during cancer cell migration. The existence of Ca2+ binding EF hand motif in MACF1 suggested that Ca2+ regulated the function of MACF1. The other members in the FCT lab are still trying to validate the model of the interaction between Ca2+ and MACF1.
Now Ting-yu is a pharmacist working in the TPECH.
