Chao-Yu accidentally entered FCT lab when Feng-Chiao described FGFR as a mysterious creature (of course, it’s a receptor). Ever since then, she started to struggle, trying to figure out the characteristic of FGFR. Two years later, she noticed that the ablation of FGFR2 affects EGFR’s distribution, which explains why depleting versus suppressing FGFR disrupts activities of EGFR in different ways. This was probably the most excited thing Chao-Yu had found in her so called “research life”. She is currently taking a pause from her research journey while seeking for her ultimate goal in life.
